New Mexico State Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting involving Los Lunas Police. Main Street only has one eastbound lane open from I-25 to East Huning Ranch Loop. State Police say the shooting involves Los Lunas Police and that one suspect was taken to the hospital.

Nearby La Luz Elementary and Garfield Middle schools have been placed on lockdown due to the police activity in the area.
