Albuquerque Police are currently searching for a wanted person in a neighborhood near Tramway and Lomas. Police say the wanted person they are looking for is considered armed and dangerous

New Mexico State Police say there is an active shooting in Albuquerque near Fifth Street and Candelaria. Nearby La Luz Elementary and Garfield Middle schools have been placed on lockdown due to the police activity in the area. Police are currently on the scene and are currently asking civilians to avoid the area. There are is no word on any injuries or fatalities at this time.
